I was sitting at Homer’s Coffee House tonight with the knowledge that my team, the Kansas City Royals, were down 11-2 against the White Soxs of Chicago. Being the die-hard fan that I am (I knew that Emil Brown, who was traded from the San Diego Padres to the New York Mets today, was once a middle of the order hitter for the Royals) I get text updates on the happenings of the game.
